Retirees from all branches of military service are invited to the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Joint Retiree Appreciation Day at the Timmermann Center on Saturday, April 29, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

U.S. Air Force Capt. John Diaz, 305th Aerial Port Squadron air freight flight commander, is recognized for his leadership with the Air Mobility Command-level Gen. Lew Allen, Jr. trophy at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Aug. 24, 2016. Diaz is currently deployed to United States Central Command Joint Logistics and Engineering Directorate in Tampa, Florida.
