Command Sergeant Major Randy Gillespie is a native of Spartanburg, SC. During his 27 year career he has held a variety of leadership and key staff positions from Section Chief to Sergeant Major. CSM Gillespie joined the United States Army in 1989 as a 31M, Multichannel Telecommunications Operator and attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Jackson, SC and Advance Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Gordon, GA.

CSM Gillespie has earned his Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Grantham University and continues to pursue his Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.
