7/6/2012 - Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. -- Always do a TCLOCS inspection before riding a motorcycle.

T - Tires and wheels
C - Controls (levers, pedal, cables, hoses, and throttle)
L - Lights (battery, lenses, reflectors, wiring, lights and turn signals)
O - Oil (levels and leaks)
C - Chassis (frame, suspension, chain or belt and fasteners)
S - Stands (center and side stand)

Wear only a Department of Transportation or Snell approved helmet.
Wear all required safety gear while riding.
Take an approved Motorcycle Safety Foundation motorcycle safety class.
Pre-plan rides and use risk assessment guidelines.
Be aware of surroundings while riding.
Be prepared for anything while riding.
Be familiar with and follow the requirements to the JB MDL Motorcycle Safety Policy.
